This summer, I’m finally heading to the French Riviera and you can bet I’ve curated my wardrobe with the perfect balance of relaxed Riviera cool and understated glam.
From sightseeing days in the sunshine, to lazy poolside afternoons and elegant dinners by the sea, here’s what I’m packing for my summer on the Côte d’Azur.
The Travel Look
Adanola Gym Set
Comfort is key when travelling, but I also like to make it cute. My Adanola gym set is ideal for the train; soft, supportive, and stylish enough to take me straight from the airport to a quick lunch or a stroll through town. I’ll throw a linen shirt or oversized hoodie over the top for layering depending on the weather on the day.
Daytime Looks: Beach, Sightseeing & Strolling
Black Linen Shirt & Shorts Co-ord
An absolute staple and a co-ord that I get a tonne of wear out of every year. The black linen keeps things breathable while looking effortlessly polished. I’ll wear it open over a bikini for the beach, or buttoned-up with chunky sandals for a day exploring.
Ganni Tee & Denim Shorts
A classic that never fails from one of my old favs. A Ganni tee adds a bit of designer touch, while the vintage-style denim shorts are the ultimate throw-on for beach days or grabbing an ice cream by the harbour.
Green Waistcoat-Style Top from Mango & Denim Shorts
This top instantly elevates my casual shorts, making them ideal for sightseeing days when I want to feel put-together but still cool and comfy.
Damson Madder Postcard Print Trousers & Anine Bing Black Tank
These trousers are pure holiday joy, and I love wearing them on sunny days. They’re playful, floaty, and great for warm evenings or café-hopping. I’ll mix and match the black tank with my denim shorts too for an easy monochrome look, maximising the outfits out of the capsule items I’m packing.
Retro Adidas Towelling Playsuit
I’ll be living in this by the pool channeling 80’s summer vibes. It’s cute, comfy and just retro enough to feel stylish while lounging or popping over to the hotel bar for a nice cold cocktail!
Smarter Daywear & Evenings Out
Black Linen Playsuit
This piece gives quiet luxury energy. Structured yet soft, I’ll wear it for smarter lunches, browsing boutiques, or early evening cocktails. Silver jewellery, a cute bag and sandals will pull it all together.
Ganni Black Maxi Dress
This is my go-to for an elevated daytime look, and equally a great evening dress. Light, dramatic, and so easy to dress up or down. Perfect for dinner with a sea view, or even just a wander through the cobbled streets at sunset.
Swimwear & Cover-Ups
Burberry Triangle Bikini
Designer swimwear is my one splurge, and this triangle cut is both timeless and chic. I’ll pair it with the black linen shirt or a crochet cover-up for an ultra-luxe beach look.
New Look White Full Cup Bikini
Supportive and flattering, this one’s ideal for days when I want to feel secure but still stylish. It works beautifully with a printed sarong or under my towelling playsuit.
Strapless Bandeau Bikini
The unsung hero of the holiday wardrobe. Great for tanning without awkward strap lines, and the neutral shape means it works with anything I throw on top.
Crochet Black Cover-Up
My go-to for poolside or beach club days. It adds texture over any bikini, and easily takes me from lounger to lunch with zero effort.
